Seesterstrandhuis is beach front property holiday accommodation, situated on a quiet street. Ideally situated within Jeffreys bay we are a short walk from the main beach and CBD. The view from the house is truly spectacular. Dolphins pass by frequently and are a pleasure to watch. Your hosts are Zdenek and Hilde Kucera. Zdenek who is a keen angler who can point out the best angling spots in Jeffreys bay. He also knows the weather, tides, phases of the moon and where to find the best bait. Hilde likes shell collecting, is a student of local flora and makes quilts from South African fabrics.  Both enjoy playing bridge at the local club. Between Hilda and Zdenek they speak English, Czech, Afrikaans, and a smattering of Russian, German and Dutch. Three fully equipped, self-catering apartments are available; each having one bedroom, excellent beds, bathroom, kitchenette, TV, parking as well as DSTV outlet available. Jeffreys Bay
General Information

Jeffreys bay has a population of 35 000 people. It is located 78 km from Port Elizabeth, which has a population of 500 000 people. This city has a major airport. Pick up at the airport can be arranged by us in advance. Jeffreys Bay is world famous for its surfing especially during June, July and August. Seester Strandhuis welcomes surfers and for begginers Lessons can be taken from experts. Jeffreys Bay is also ideal for cycling past placid lagoons. The Kabeljous, Seekoei and Krom river lagoons hosts numerous water birds, and is also ideal for water sport like canoeing, boardsailing, fishing etc.
  Other activities include shell collecting, whale watching (seasonal from July to October) sand boarding, horse riding, hot air ballooning, golf, bowls, tennis, squash and so on. Calamari is a speciality
in the local restaurants, as well as other seafood dishes.

Day trips to Addo Elephant Park, Shamwari game reserve, Baviaanskloof Wilderness, Storms River Mouth, Tsitsikamma forest, Gamtoos river citrus farms, Langkloof apple farms. Personal visits to farms can be arranged. The local people are friendly and hospitable. You will be received and entertained like royalty.
